Wolverhampton council will be reopening both Tettenhall Pool and the splash pad at East park on Saturday the 25th of May, following a health and safety check.

Anyone who will be enjoying visiting is reminded to please remain safe and respectful to other members of the public.

This is only the second year that the East Park splash pad will be up and running following a renovation that saw many new additions including roundabouts and rope swings.

Councillor Bhupinder Gakhal, cabinet member for resident services at City of Wolverhampton Council, said:  “We’re hoping for some warm days so children and families can make the most of splashing. I’d like to remind people of the importance of wearing hats and sunscreen while enjoying the city’s water attractions – and do make sure you wear suitable clothes and shoes.” These attractions will be open for the rest of summer and are due to shut again around September so make sure you make the most of it
